This is an original model cel from the Hanna Barbera Studios production of Super Friends (1973-1986). This cel features Superman in his Supermobile, you know, for those times where Superman needs a vehicle to fly for him and do his punching for him. I mean, it's not like he can already fly, is already faster than a speeding bullet, and stronger than a locomotive, but this plane has fists! This cel was created at the studio and used during production as a reference tool to assist animators and the painters with consistency. The overall measurements of the piece are 10.5" x 12.5" and the image itself measures 8" x 9.5" The cel is in good condition with some line wear as seen in the images. This piece was exhibited at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA for their 2017 exhibit, "Hanna Barbera: The Architects of Saturday Morning."
